FUN, FUN, FUN


That's what it was on Saturday at the Scrap Needs Girls Night In. Lots of fun, lots of laughter, lots of great prizes to win and some great competitions. Thanks Kell and Mandy for organising it all and thanks to all the great girls who went along and made it a fun night - our little group managed to raise just over $300!!!

And I was one of the lucky ones (along with Janelle) to win a Jen Hall original LO - how amazing is that - and how beautiful - thanks again Jen I love it!!! See it doesn't hurt to do far too much blog surfing and remember far too many weird facts about the Scrap Needs DT!!! (although I did have a little bit of help from a couple of people - you girlies know who you are and thank you).

Tonight also sees the 3rd round of the Scrap in the City competition start - this week was my challenge - it sees everyone stitching, either machine or hand or both, using 1 photo of yourself and has to have hidden journalling which I also want to see, so here is my example for you - machine stitching around all the pp squares and the photo frame - hand stitched the flower (took me nearly 3 days, my poor fingers!!!) and french knots in the middle of the flower and around the border. Was actually lots of fun to do and some insightful journalling about myself at this time of my life!!! TFL everyone and have a great week.
