Best Weekend!!!

We had the very bestest of best weekends. Tim decided at the last moment (as he does) to go camping for the weekend so we took off and ended up at Shoal Bay, did obscene amounts of bike riding, bushwalking and beaching!!! The kids dug out huge sand caves on the beach (with just a little help from Tim) and spent loads of time swimming around in the very small waves that the get in the bay - it was FANTASTIC. The kids came home wrecked, we came home wrecked, but it was just wonderful.

But of course it meant we got to try out the camping trailer that Tim has been building - we had our own hot and cold water (running - out of a spout!!!), our own fridge, or own cooktop and BBQ, our own trailer pantry. It made it all so much easier and so much less like it was camping. It's the best thing he's ever made (well besides the kids in the first place - lol).

And on Friday before we left I made a flying trip up to Newcastle to the Craft-Alive expo thingo, and have to say it was small!!! If it's the same thing that they used to hold at the Maitland showground well it didn't quite measure up!!! But I did meet a lovely lady - Karen from a new online store called Scrapbook n'Bits and she has some yummy cool stuff and you can find her here: http://scrapbooknbits.com.au.

Hope everyone else had an awesome weekend and I'll try to remember to upload some photos later on!!!

I checked out the new website, are you trying out for the DT comp?

I love camping, just wished Peer understood that camping isn't 3 star hotel rooms. lol

Hi Melanie - if I get my act together than I'm entering the DT competition. And I used to think the same way as Peter, but when you see how much fun the kids have in a tent it just changes everything!!!
