Well I survived!!!

A family birthday party yesterday, an engagement party last night (Tim & I actually went as adults without the kids and it was soooooo special, doesn't happen very often so have to make the most of it when we can!!!) and then today of course Jess's party with her friends. Have to say it went off without a hitch, the kids had a ball, gotta love party games and eat the doughnut off a string, and necklace making. But I'm wrecked now, I'm going to enjoy going to bed early tonight and having a BIG SLEEP.

Still can't believe I'm the mum to an 8 year old - it's all just too amazing, surprising and unexpected.

Hope everyone has had a great one - I can't wait for the kids to go back to school tomorrow and I can have some peace and quiet.
