Back Again.

I'm back again after spending 4 days with my family in Bathurst - it was lovely and the kids had a ball doing cool stuff with their grandparents and some of their cousins again. But I must admit I was really glad to get home - too many days away without Tim!!!

And some cool news I'm into the next round of a DT competition - YAY ME.

This was my entry for the Scrapbook n Bits (link over in the sidebar) DT competition currently underway. This was alot of experimenting with watercolours and stamping and I have to say I loved the result, it turned out nothing like I imagined, and I'm so happy that other people thought it was pretty good too. (The idea for the photo came from the very talented Libby Morris - love her style - but the LO is nothing like the one Libby did.) The next round of the competition is to conduct an "online class" which in itself is pretty scary, but I'll cross that hurdle later on.

And this weekend I'm busy altering school pants and ironing shirts and getting organised for the return of school - I've really enjoyed these holidays it's been so busy and so much fun and I'm a bit sad that they are coming to an end already.
