Snakes Alive!!!

that's what we had in the house!!! My funny and weird husband caught a small Bandy Bandy snake (as you do), on Monday night so he thought it would be cool to put in an aquarium (empty of course) that we have, to show the kids cause it was quite an amazing little snake, probably only 75cm long but with very distinctive black and white bands up and down its body. So of course Tim puts a nice big piece of cardboard on top of the aquarium, and puts a mug on top of that (to hold it down - LOL). So of course Tuesday morning we get up to show the kids this amazing snake Dad found and guess what ... it GOT OUT!!! So I'm hoping (seeing as they are a nocturnal snake) that it quietly and happily found it's way outside - otherwise we still have a small but nearly harmless snake slithering around the house.

But the funniest part is that last night Tim couldn't sleep, he kept imagining noises and thought the snake was in our bedroom behind our bed, we moved everything and of course NO SNAKE, but he couldn't sleep, he dreamt all night that it was in our bedroom!!! Made me laugh - he's seriously weird sometimes.

So that's the life and times of living with us!!! I can tell you it's never very dull!!!
